Unique work in mixed polymaterial technique on canvas measuring 70x100 cm. Polymaterial painting is a means of artistic expression in which the artist works in absolute freedom, also using materials that are not commonly used in traditional painting techniques. The term "painting" may be somewhat reductive when applied to this type of work, whereas "polymaterial" (multiple materials) is quite descriptive and already gives a precise idea of the type of painting. These materials are composed and assembled on the support together with the painting. The color mixes with the material to amplify the expressive possibilities of simple painting by adding characteristics that are normally incompatible with it. Classic painting is a two-dimensional expression, whereas in polymaterial painting, the artist tends to move beyond this dimension to project into space, thus achieving three-dimensional, tactile, and volumetric effects.
