Artist's Biography: Giuliano was born and lives in Milan where he attended the school of Graphic Design and studied with important artists; he is an Artist and photographer. Working on and creating Artist's books, he delves into the art of printmaking. He has collaborated with artists such as: Baj, Fiume, Guttuso, Scanavino, Tadini, Warhol, Vaserely, Rotella, and many others.

He has held numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad: Rome, Milan, Florence, Potenza, Viggiano, Novara, Beijing, Lugano, Miami, New York, etc. His photographs and artworks have been published by: Rizzoli, Bompiani, Frassinelli, L'Espresso, Panorama, Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, L'Unità

He is knowledgeable in various techniques used in his works, including "cracker art". It is a very versatile technique, adaptable to any context and subject because it has the ability to adapt and articulate itself among cinema, photography, video, music, and theater by recombining them at will and giving each piece something unique and particular.

Starting from historical, captivating, original, and even modern figures, they have developed a production of clippings and tears that give each image a peculiarity that distinguishes each subject, making it unique in its essence.

Recently, in addition to his already remarkable creations, he has started creating works on plexiglass which begins with the preparation of a digitally processed raw file using various techniques and then transferred onto a rigid plexiglass support. Various manual applications are added such as gold leaf, silver, and precious metals on the artwork.

Cracker Art: A technical and stylistic procedure that Grittini calls cracker art, or rather a funk art / cracker art that ennobles the lost, the abandoned, the obsolete, the outmoded. The words and images, the writings and print characters recorded for centuries, letters, manuscripts, words that taste of earth and sky, glossy paper, faces, characters, myths, beauties, which, captured, collected, identified, cataloged, and explored in their exhilarating readability, find new and targeted fortune. Giuliano and Linda Grittini gave birth to cracker art, and it is certainly not a small thing, as it is often said that in art everything has already been aired. Of course, but for a transience of culture and art, it is about revisiting the past with a unique and perhaps unrepeatable intellectual ignition, as Giuliano and Linda Grittini themselves have done.
